Sleeping Night

​

With this support, the care staff will attend your property to support you overnight. The care staff will be able to attend and also sleep, usually between 10pm and 8am next day, a minimum of 10 hours. This sort of support suits those that do not require regular support, but feel have overnight unpredictable needs overnight that may require attending to. Staff on sleep duty are required to attend to any emergencies that may occur, including attending hospital (A&E).

If assistance is needed more than twice during the night, this will be considered a waking night.

 

Waking Night

With this type of support, the care staff on duty will stay up throughout the night. Our hours are between 10pm to 8am next day.

|This provides one of the best supports for service users that has unpredictable but challenging night care needs, including frequent waking up and/or wandering at night, requiring repositioning etc.  

 

The waking night care professional is there at your side as and when you need them for the duration of the night, providing a high level of expert support.
